Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
* 8+ years of professional development experience, including proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer on complex, large-scale platforms.
* Substantial experience with SQL and designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures is necessary.
* Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures.
* Substantial experience with JavaScript, Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js), and front-end development with React, including micro-frontend architecture.
* Engineers with experience in C#, .NET, or Python are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric technology stack.
Location:

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help drive the continued evolution of a connected equipment solution. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will operate as a highly autonomous problem solver, architecting solutions within a large, pre-existing ecosystem. You will focus on designing and developing new features, writing cutting-edge code, and continuously enhancing the performance and scalability of the product line in a design-first development environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deliver new features for a complex and evolving IoT platform.
* Write high-quality, efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
* Take ownership of work by writing unit tests and ensuring the reliability and performance of code.
* Collaborate within a highly engaged, cross-functional development team.
* Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, and supporting fellow developers.
* Contribute to architectural decisions, database optimization, and API design to enhance scalability and maintainability.
* Partner with product managers to define, scope, and plan innovative new features.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic technical initiatives and long-term product direction.
* Work with QA to ensure cohesive, high-quality, and user-centric solutions.
* Actively participate in and help improve the agile development process.
* Produce clear, detailed, and maintainable documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
8+ years of professional development experience, including proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer on complex, large-scale platforms. Substantial experience with SQL and designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures is necessary. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and business problems across diverse software architectures.
Technical
Skills:
Substantial experience with JavaScript, Node.js (Hapi.js/Express.js), and front-end development with React, including micro-frontend architecture. Engineers with experience in C#, .NET, or Python are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to transition into a JavaScript/Node.js-centric technology stack.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with No
SQL databases.
* Experience with containerized application deployments, especially using Docker.
* Experience with large-scale data systems.
* Experience with message queueing architectures, particularly Rabbit
MQ.
* Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially EC2, S3, VPC, Elasticsearch, and Kinesis.
* Any IoT experience is a plus.
