Cheltenham School District announces the following extra duty-extra pay position is available for the school-year, at Cheltenham High School:
EDEP: 2026-27 Soccer [Boys] - JV Head Coach
Qualifications
- Must have extensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to effectively teach and communicate fundamental skills.
- Must have at least 2 - 4 years of coaching experience working with children and/or adolescents; coaching at the high school level preferred.
- A strong understanding of the sport's theory and practice is required; experience as a player or coach at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
- Must demonstrate the personal qualities necessary to foster sportsmanship and support student-athlete success in a positive and encouraging environment.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, along with a proven ability to build relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and school administration.
- Applicants must be prepared to submit required background checks that are no more than one year old from the date of issue, in accordance with state law.
External candidates:
If hired, you will be required to provide Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances and other mandatory employment forms.
