Location: Indiana
Helicopter mechanic – Lead Position 80-100% (m/w/d)
Work location Haltikon, start date immediately or by agreement.
Heliswiss International AG can look back on over 60 years of experience in precision work with large helicopters. We specialize in transport and assembly flights of up to five tons all over the world.
Heliswiss International AG is part of the Swiss Helicopter Group, which is the largest private employer in the industry and operates over 40 helicopters. The Group employs a total of over 220 people in various functions at 20 locations.
What you can expect- Perform and oversee maintenance and repair work on our company-owned fleet
- Take responsibility for coordinating with engineering, planning, and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient maintenance processes
- Coordinate and support line and base maintenance on our base
- Lead and guide mechanics during flight operations in Switzerland and abroad (Europe & worldwide)
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality across maintenance activities together with the management team
- EASA Part-66 B1.3 license (mandatory)
- Type Rating AS332 an advantage or willingness to obtain it
- FAA A&P license is an advantage or willingness to obtain one
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience in a maintenance environment
- Hands‑on mentality with a proactive approach – you take initiative, enjoy responsibility, and get things done
- High motivation and flexibility for international flight assignments
- Business fluent in English, knowledge of German, French and Spanish an advantage
- Solid IT skills in MS Office and other programs as like MRX etc.
- Resilient, quality‑conscious, and team‑oriented personality
- Driving license category B
