About the role
The CDL Driver II is responsible for transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous waste between company facilities and customer sites. This position primarily involves operating manual transmission vehicles, including roll off trucks as the main equipment, along with van trailers and box trucks. This is a local, home daily driving role.
Responsibilities- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards while meeting scheduled delivery and pickup times
- Load, transport, and unload materials using specialized equipment including vacuum systems and pumping units
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions
- Complete required documentation such as manifests, bills of lading, logs, inspection reports, and delivery receipts
- Ensure proper placarding and labeling of vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, instructions, and delays
- Follow established routes and directions while adapting to changing conditions as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on safety for employees, customers, and the general public
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid CDL Class A or B required
- Tanker endorsement required
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience, including tanker experience
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to work regional routes or home daily schedules
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push, pull, reach, and grip as required for equipment operation
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Required visual and hearing capabilities to safely operate equipment

The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $52,200.00 - $69,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
