Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous experience providing maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles.
- Previous experience maintaining/repairing school buses and diesel engines preferred.
- Pervious experience with vehicle body work a plus.
- Current Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement, no Air Brake Restriction, and clean driving record.
- Current Class 7 State Inspection license.
- School Bus Endorsement preferred.
- Must be flexible.

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain school buses, trucks, mowers, vans, and other equipment as assigned.
- Maintain adequate supply of all inventory and supplies.
- Provide emergency road service to district vehicles.
- Suggest changes to improve efficiency, service, safety and costs.
- Assist drivers when required to maintain proper fuel supply, engine oil level, transmission oil level, engine coolant level, and proper air pressure in tires.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
- Transport school students as necessary when staffing needs demand.

Terms of Employment:Full-time position, 8 hours per day, 12 months. Position following the School District calendar. Position part of the Support Staff Bargaining Unit.
