Store Delivery Driver: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to a pre‑determined group of customers.
• Be friendly and courteous, and work in a team environment.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner while following federal, state, and local laws and company policies.

• Deliver orders accurately and drive vehicle.
• Pick up cores and returns from customers and process credits.
• Handle and report customer problems to the Store or Warehouse Manager.
• Report to work in a continuous timely manner.
• Provide basic vehicle care and maintenance.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets underwriting standards.
• Meet all criteria and policies set forth in the Company Employee Handbook, Driver’s Handbook, and Fleet Safety Policy.
• Assist in special projects as requested.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) must be obtained and maintained.
• Successfully complete a pre‑employment drug test.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including an assortment of days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; greater with assistance.
• Frequently sit for long periods of time.
• Occasionally walk, stand, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, push, pull, crouch, squat, twist, and stoop.
• Climb, balance, crawl, talk, speak, and hear.
• Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• May be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, weather extremes, and vibration.
• Noise level moderate to heavy.
• Considerable mobility required.
• Must read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs, respond to officials, and record reports, logs, and records.
• Keep vehicle clean and check fluids regularly.
• Follow all company rules, including safe driving policies and procedures, and report any accident or injury immediately to management.
