CDL Driver

The CDL Driver is responsible for the transportation of materials/equipment to and from well‑site locations in multiple states. This role focuses on operating efficiently to meet daily and weekly delivery goals, including driving to designated locations, verifying loads, maintaining duty status records per state and federal regulations, and performing pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.

• Drive truck to and from designated destinations.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and manipulate the vehicle in varied traffic, inclement weather, and difficult situations.
• Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips; submit a written report on the truck condition at trip end.
• Check shipping documents for accuracy.
• Operate equipment in all weather conditions, including long distances, turns, and tight areas.
• Unload materials or equipment from truck using forklift as needed.
• Perform simple math, handle receipts, read maps and road signs; maintain duty status record.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and highway safety hazards involving drivers or company equipment.
• Report delays caused by breakdowns, weather, traffic, or other emergencies, or irregularities in pick‑up or delivery.
• Maintain required records for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s duty status and mileage logs.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.

• Three to five (3‑5) years of commercial driving experience, preferred.
• Experience hauling oversize and overweight loads.
• One to two (1‑2) years of commercial driving experience and certification of a completed training program from an accredited commercial driving school.
• One or more years of forklift operation experience.
• Valid CDL, Class A license.
• Experience operating oilfield winch trucks and trailers.
• Willingness to stay on the road for multiple days at a time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, pull, lift, carry, and push equipment/tools up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems, DOT regulations, inspection, and maintenance practices.
• Meet medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.
• Pass drug and alcohol tests as required by DOT regulation.
• High school diploma or GED, required.
