Linehaul Coordinator

Location: Lewisberry

Fed Ex -  - Responsibilities:
Plan transportation needs to maximize capacity and minimize partial trailer loads while maintaining service integrity;
Direct dispatch of transportation equipment according to the Linehaul plan;
Collaborate with field operations to plan contractor and equipment needs for trailer movements;
Coordinate and track processing and movement of trailers, rental equipment, and dollies;
Enter trip details into an online system (TMS) to ensure on-time delivery and pickup;
Perform yard inventories and verify load/unload status through yard checks;
Report missing equipment and investigate delays, accidents, and equipment failures with contingency plans;
Coordinate with Safety and Maintenance to monitor tractor inspections and obtain annual certificates per DOT requirements;
Review TLCRs to ensure proper completion;
Ensure safety initiatives are followed and communicate them to the team;
Perform other duties as assigned
