Location: Manheim
Summary
The Warehouse Associate will create a customer focus by accurately performing all warehousing duties assigned (pick/pack, ship, receive, and replenish) based on training/certification levels.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOther duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must be able to use PC including Office, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, carrier websites, and Google search
- Adapt to change in the work environment to maintain internal and external customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and fellow employees
- Adjust schedule to fluctuate work priorities, as needed
- Report any safety incidents and/or moving violations
- Use material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and/or work area(s)
- Operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle or successfully complete in‑house powered industrial vehicle certification by the end of the probationary period
- Accurately pick outbound orders
- Verify incoming material(s) by comparing physical quantities / part numbers to incoming paperwork
- Unload numerous trucks daily and verify to Bill of Ladings, noting any damage/missing items
- Participate in annual physical inventories
- May be required to work at other remote facilities
- Any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Education:
High School Diploma/GED - Experience:
Equivalent work experience is required - Language and Communication
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret charts - Reasoning Ability:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations - Certifications:
