You will lead a team of warehouse associates and forklift operators while partnering closely with Production, Maintenance, Planning, and the Filling Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly. This role requires strong communication and coordination throughout the shift to ensure production is supported, operational issues are addressed promptly, and a thorough end-of-shift handoff is provided. If you are a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and driving operational excellence, we would love to hear from you.
What You'll Do

* Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates, forklift drivers, and machine operators to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
* Assign daily work, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback to support employee success
* Coordinate closely with the Filling Supervisor throughout the shift to ensure production lines, operational priorities are aligned, and issues are addressed proactively; provide a comprehensive end-of-shift email summarizing shift performance, key activities, and outstanding items requiring follow-up
* Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed
* Load, unload, store, and move materials throughout the warehouse using established procedures
* Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS), RFID technology, and JD Edwards (JDE) to manage inventory and create/close work orders
* Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control processes
* Prepare partial pallets and staged materials to support the next day's production schedule
* Perform quality checks, documentation, and packaging activities as needed
* Complete End-of-Shift (EOS) reports, proactively communicating operational issues and shift performance
* Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime
* Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and all safety regulations
* Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, quality, and customer service
This description outlines the general nature of the position and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all responsibilities. Additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.
What You'll Bring
* High School diploma or GED required;
Bachelor's degree preferred
* 2 or more years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leadership role
* Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment
* Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills
* Experience with warehouse inventory systems; experience with JDE and RFID technology is a plus
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Ability to lift 20-60 pounds frequently and safely climb stairs and ladders
