PositionSummary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with company safety standards. The Warehouse Specialist works closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations and support business objectives.
Schedule & Pay- 8-12-hour shifts
- Eventually transitioning in to a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, then repeat)
- Day Shift: $22/hour
This schedule provides consistent, predictable time off and excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Unload, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
- Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and rotated as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and service goals.
- Support special warehouse projects and other duties as assigned.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred (food manufacturing a plus)
- Ability to learn machine operation and follow procedures
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Basic ability to input information into machines or systems
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
