Distribution Associate – Senior Distribution Associate
Distribution Associate performs various administrative, coordination, and timekeeping activities in support of the Warehouse Distribution Center at the Cleveland Miles location.
Responsibilities- Demonstrating a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
- Performing correspondence and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Products and SAP.
- Managing timekeeping for multiple physical worker employees.
- Managing payments to vendors and ordering supplies for the Warehouse Distribution Center (WDC) staff.
- Supporting the management team by scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
- Maintaining electronic and physical filing and record systems associated with the Warehouse Distribution Center.
- Providing sound internal and external customer service.
- Building relationships and credibility across the organization.
- Managing resources wisely; making sound decisions that enhance the organization's financial position.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Participating in the storm process and being available to work extended hours as needed.
An employee hired at the Advanced / Senior Distribution Associate level will be expected to perform all the above responsibilities with more proficiency, and in a more independent manner. Further, the Advanced / Senior Distribution Associate level employee will be assigned additional responsibilities related to those above.
Qualifications- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years related work experience in an equivalent position is required.
- Pass the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test.
- Able to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Possess strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize workload.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Willing to seek guidance and advice to fill gaps in understanding.
- Able to administer confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 7 years of related work experience in an equivalent position is required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Local 270 contract is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of related work experience in an equivalent position is required.
- Able to process complex and difficult administrative tasks and assignments.
First Energy takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. In addition, your actual base salary will depend on various factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience.
The estimated base pay range for this role is $46,500 - $68,500.
