1st Shift
- Mon-Fri, 6a-2p Warehouse Leads are responsible for keeping the team aligned, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, maintaining safety, and serving as the communication link between workers and management.
- Set up workstations with tools, supplies, and safety checks
- Monitor workflow and ensure tasks are followed correctly
- Serve as first contact for associate questions; escalate when needed
- Train, coach, and guide team members
- Delegate tasks fairly and balance workloads
- Lead by example as a supervisor's extension
- Share updates and instructions from management
- Report issues and improvements hourly
- Flag prior shift issues for smooth transitions
- Ensure correct processes in order to avoid errors
- Spot-check work for compliance
- Reinforce safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Enforce PPE and safety protocols
- Address hazards immediately
- Complete housekeeping tasks by shift end
- Resolve workflow issues (e.g., equipment shortages, scanning errors)
- Escalate major problems to specialists or supervisors
- Support evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Model professionalism, attendance, and productivity
- Assist with end of shift hand off
Must be able to qualify for and maintain forklift license; valid state issued driver's license and successful completion of eye exam required. Physical effort lifting and moving material or objects that are average weight continuously and heavy weight material or objects occasionally. Ability to move inside warehouse and remain in stationary position up to 10 – 12 hours. Bend, stretch, push, pull and reach low and high places frequently.
Operate buttons on computer and RF guns. Ascend/descend 3 step ladder that crosses over conveyor. Move light weight objects or material overhead occasionally. Ability to work in high places of 35-40 ft. Ability to look up to high places (35-40 ft.) by bending neck. Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands, wrists, and arms. Ability to perform visual quality inspection of product functionality and color.
HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. At least 6 months prior experience in distribution/warehouse environment; forklift driving experience preferred. Knowledge of warehouse systems (PkMS). Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification. Highly motivated team player, willing to accept additional responsibilities and strive for continuous improvement.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to prioritize, manage time, and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to work overtime as needed.
