Night Shift Loader

Performance Food Group is seeking a Night Shift Loader to support our fast-paced wholesale food distribution operations in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will safely load and unload cases of food and related products, accurately stage and secure pallets, and verify orders against load sheets to ensure on-time, error-free deliveries to our restaurant, healthcare, and retail customers. Working on-site in our distribution center, you'll operate pallet jacks and forklifts, follow strict safety and food-handling standards, and collaborate closely with warehouse teams and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload food and related products from trailers and docks during night shift
• Verify product counts, labels, and conditions against loading documentation
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
• Stage, wrap, and secure pallets to meet delivery schedules and prevent damage
• Follow all safety, food handling, and warehouse cleanliness standards
• Use warehouse systems or scanners to record inventory movement and trailer loads
• Coordinate with warehouse leads, selectors, and drivers to prioritize loads
• Report product shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly
• Maintain organized loading areas and comply with company policies and procedures
