Material Handler

Wavepoint Logistics is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support evening warehouse operations in our transportation and warehousing network. In this 5pm shift role, you will load and unload trailers, move and stage pallets, and accurately pick, pack, and scan freight using RF devices and warehouse management systems. You'll inspect freight and packaging, follow safety and housekeeping standards, and operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as qualified.

Working in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment, you'll help maintain inventory accuracy and support efficient, on-time distribution across North America.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently
• Move, stage, and store pallets and freight according to warehouse layout and procedures
• Pick, pack, and label orders accurately using RF scanners and WMSInspect freight, packaging, and pallets for damage or discrepancies and report issues
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as qualified
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper scanning, counts, and documentation
• Follow all safety, PPE, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet productivity and service goals
• Support continuous improvement and standardized work practices in daily tasks
