Warehouse Associate

A leading wholesale food distribution company is seeking dependable warehouse associates for their facility in Warrendale, PA. This is a full-time contract opportunity working in a cold storage warehouse environment supporting daily order fulfillment operations. Contract duration: approximately 2,000 total hours (long-term contract assignment).

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, starting at 8:00 AM; shift typically ends between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM depending on workload, with occasional extension to 8:00 PM. 40 hours per week.

Location:

Warrendale, PA (on-site). No travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general warehouse duties including lifting, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Work safely with sharp instruments as part of daily tasks
• Learn to operate an electric pallet jack
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in a cold, wet work environment (34°F–40°F)
• Support order picking, packing, and product handling processes

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work safely with sharp instruments
• Willingness to learn to operate an electric pallet jack
• Comfortable working in cold, wet conditions year-round
• Must wear steel, safety, or composite slip- and water-resistant boots

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of prior warehouse experience
• Familiarity with produce handling
