Spotter​/Material Handler

Wavepoint Logistics is seeking a Spotter/Material Handler to support our busy transportation and warehousing operations. In this on-site role, you will safely move trailers in and out of docks, position equipment in the yard, and assist with loading, unloading, and staging freight. You'll verify counts and documentation, update warehouse systems, and coordinate closely with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse leads to keep loads on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard truck to safely move trailers within the yard and to docks
• Load, unload, and stage freight using pallet jacks or forklifts as allowed by certifications
• Verify counts, labels, and condition of inbound and outbound materials
• Update warehouse systems and paperwork to track trailer moves and inventory locations
• Perform routine yard checks to confirm trailer positions and availability
• Follow safety, DOT, and facility procedures for vehicle operation and material handling
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse leads, and drivers to support on-time loading
• Assist with housekeeping and basic equipment inspections in the yard and warehouse
