Housekeeping Assistant Manager - Accommodation
Whinfell Forest | Circa £31,700 per annum pro rata
Help keep the forest feeling fresh
Join our Housekeeping management team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department. You'll manage a team of Team Leaders and oversee up to 90 colleagues, driving high standards and exceptional guest experiences.
What you’ll be doing- Organise and allocate housekeeping duties to maintain high standards
- Support budget and payroll management to meet divisional targets
- Assist with recruitment and coordinate training for Housekeeping colleagues
- Promote team wellbeing, motivation and performance through effective leadership

- Part‑time contracts available, with shifts falling between 8am and 8pm
- You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 120 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
- This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills to support, develop and challenge teams
- Proven team leadership experience in a demanding, service‑driven environment
- Motivational and empathetic approach to team management
