Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk

A local company is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk in Pensacola, Florida. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a professional environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Enter and maintain financial transactions in Quick Books
  • Assist with accounts payable (AP): enter bills, process payments, track due dates
  • Assist with accounts receivable (AR): create invoices, post payment, follow up on past-due accounts
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Answer basic accounting questions from vendors and clients
  • Maintain vendor and customer records
  • Track purchase orders, receipt and reimbursements
  • Assist with special projects and general office duties as needed
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of bookkeeping/accounting support experience
  • Quick Books experience required (Online and/or Desktop)
  • Familiarity with AR/AP, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting pay: $16-18/hour
  • Hours:

    Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • After meeting qualification requirements, employees are offered through Landrum:
