In this critical role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of accounting records for these properties.   Owns ensuring accurate accounting records and supporting the financial operations of a portfolio of real estate properties.
• Tech Stack:
  Microsoft Excel, Yardi (or similar property accounting software)

• Perform all necessary month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for the property portfolio.
• Prepare precise bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Process Accounts Payable efficiently and prepare essential journal entries for various transactions.
• Generate comprehensive financial reports, conduct cash flow analyses, and provide support for budgeting processes.
• Analyze tenant receivables thoroughly and maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with GAAP.

• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred for this early career role.
• Experience:
  
  Requires 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for prior property accounting experience.
• Skills:
  
  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bonus:
  Prior experience utilizing Yardi or similar property accounting software is advantageous.
