Job Description
The Administrative Coordinator, Charter Academy is a 12‑month professional position with an anticipated start date of August
2026 (start date may be negotiated). The successful candidate will coordinate various aspects of the Charter Academy, including student admissions, registration, maintenance of student records, document management, policies and procedures. The role performs public‑facing customer service and requires an extensive working knowledge of the Academy. The Coordinator provides a wide latitude of administrative and secretarial support in the management of the Charter Academy.
The position reports to the Dean and Principal of the Charter Academy.
- Coordinate student admissions, registration, and maintenance of student records.
- Manage document storage, retrieval, and record‑keeping.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Provide public‑facing customer service.
- Perform administrative and secretarial duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook) in a networked office setting.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check; compliance with Florida Statutes §435.04(2) and §1012.32(2)(b)(1).
- Background check by Florida Department of Law Enforcement approved agency as a condition of employment.
- Experience in an administrative role in K‑12, college, or university settings.
- Experience working as part of a team with minimum supervision.

The salary ranges from $41,000 to $46,000, depending on qualifications; the amount is negotiable.
