POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and confidential support to the President/CEO and serves as a central coordination point for executive activities. The position requires exceptional integrity, discretion, judgment, professionalism, and the ability to oversee highly confidential and sensitive information. The Executive Assistant manages executive scheduling and communications, supports executive meetings and strategic initiatives, coordinates executive records and follow-up, and helps ensure the President/CEO is prepared for internal and external responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, office administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Five or more years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including substantial support to a senior executive, C-suite leader, or comparable leadership position, is preferred. Experience in a credit union, bank, regulated financial institution, or professional-services environment is highly desirable.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Unquestioned integrity with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, proofreading, business correspondence, and meeting-minute preparation. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, attention-to-detail, and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities independently. Professional judgment, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with Executives, employees, Board and Committee Members, vendors, and community leaders.

Ability to anticipate needs, identify matters requiring escalation, and distinguish routine issues from those requiring President/CEO attention. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and electronic document-management tools, with the ability to learn Credit Union systems and Board/meeting technology;
Canva proficiency preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and securely manage confidential electronic and paper documents. Working knowledge of executive-office practices, meeting administration, and financial-institution terminology preferred. Must be bondable.
