Role Overview We are seeking a Business Channel Support Specialist to join our team. The person in this role will serve as a first line of defense against fraud by conducting risk assessments of new business membership applications. This position requires ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and performing in-depth business verification and due diligence.

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of new business membership applications, evaluating business legitimacy, ownership structures, Nature of Business (NOB), and other risk factors.
• Ensure compliance with Know Your Business (KYB), Customer Identification Program (CIP), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform in-depth business verification and investigative due diligence using internal systems, public records, and other intelligence sources to validate business operations and detect potential fraud.
• Analyze applicant, owner, and related-party information to identify fraud indicators, transaction risks, and other red flags.
• Exercise sound risk-based judgment to make application decisions, including approvals, denials, and escalations for suspicious activity review.
• Document investigative findings, rationale, and supporting evidence in designated systems to meet audit and compliance standards.
• Prepare and coordinate denial, escalation, and fraud mitigation actions, including developing risk assessments and recommendations.
• Partner with Fraud, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure consistent policy application and effective risk mitigation.
