Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience managing projects involving commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and interior finish systems. You'll work closely with field leadership, general contractors, architects, vendors, and ownership to successfully deliver multiple commercial projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final completion and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, manpower forecasts, and project execution strategies.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope documents to ensure complete project understanding.
- Coordinate superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and clients throughout every phase of construction.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, cost control, billing, and profitability.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and long-lead items to maintain project schedules.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, production, and schedule performance.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with owners, architects, general contractors, and internal teams.
- Identify project risks early and implement solutions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts.
- Support field operations by ensuring crews have the resources, materials, and information needed to maintain productivity.
- Oversee punch-list completion, project turnover, warranties, and final closeout documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
