Position: Superintendent 3

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on the company’s largest, most complex, technically challenging, and highest-risk commercial construction projects
.
This is a senior field leadership position for an accomplished builder who can take ownership of the entire jobsite from mobilization through completion, and provide the construction judgment necessary to keep complex projects safe, organized, on schedule, and at the highest level of quality.
The Senior Superintendent is not simply responsible for managing daily activities. This individual is responsible for leading the entire field operation
, establishing the execution strategy, managing competing priorities, developing field leaders, and making critical decisions when project conditions change or the stakes are high.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial or institutional projects and has the leadership presence to earn the confidence of subcontractors, clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and internal project leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall field operations on the company’s largest, most complex, or highest-risk construction projects.
  • Take ultimate field responsibility for safety, quality, schedule execution, logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination.
  • Establish and execute the field strategy from mobilization through project completion.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor multiple Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
  • Work closely with Project Management and company leadership to develop and execute the overall project plan.
  • Drive critical path planning and proactively manage schedule risks.
  • Coordinate complex construction activities involving multiple trades, phases, occupied spaces, renovations, or technically demanding work.
  • Anticipate field, constructability, logistics, sequencing, and coordination challenges before they affect project performance.
  • Make high-level field decisions that protect safety, schedule, quality, and the company’s professional and financial interests.
  • Lead major subcontractor coordination meetings and hold trade partners accountable for manpower, productivity, safety, quality, and schedule commitments.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, inspectors, and other key project stakeholders.
  • Oversee complex site logistics, access plans, material movement, equipment coordination, and workforce management.
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and coordination requirements to identify potential issues before they reach the field.
  • Partner with Project Management to resolve significant schedule, coordination, constructability, and execution challenges.
  • Maintain the highest standards of jobsite safety and quality throughout construction.
  • Lead inspections, punch list activities, commissioning coordination, project turnover, and final field closeout.
  • Serve as a senior technical and field resource for S1 and S2 Superintendents.
  • Help establish and reinforce company field standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Represent the company as a senior field leader and trusted builder.
