Position:
Full-time, ordained or ordainable

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000;
Full Health Insurance for Pastor and Family

Vacation:
Two weeks in year one;
Three weeks in year two;
Four weeks thereafter

Overview:

Pinewoods Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), is seeking a Pastor / Director of Student Ministries to shepherd our covenant youth (grades 6-12). This pastor will labor under the oversight of the Session to disciple students in the gospel, prepare them for communicant membership, and integrate them into the full life and worship of the church.

Responsibilities:

* Teach Scripture and disciple students in accordance with the Westminster Standards.

* Lead weekly student gatherings, Sunday School, retreats, and discipleship events.

* Provide pastoral care, counsel, and shepherding consistent with PCA polity.

* Equip and support parents as primary disciple rs.

* Recruit and train volunteer leaders; oversee student ministry operations.

* Maintain compliance with Session-approved child-protection policies.

* Encourage participation in Lord's Day worship and service in the church.

Salary: $60K-$89K

Requirements

* Clear Christian character and calling to pastoral ministry.

* Agreement with the doctrinal standards of the PCA.

* M.Div. preferred; ordained or pursuing ordination in the PCA.

* Demonstrated teaching, shepherding, and leadership ability-especially with youth.

* Strong relational and organizational skills.
