Carden Christian Academy is seeking a spiritually mature and relational Youth Pastor & Student Ministry to serve both Lower and Upper School students. This role provides biblical teaching, spiritual leadership, and pastoral guidance through age‑appropriate sermons, Bible lessons, and discipleship.

The Youth Pastor will deliver separate monthly sermons and Bible instruction tailored to each division, fostering spiritual growth, biblical literacy, and Christ‑centered character development within the school community.

• Deliver 2 sermons per month (one for Lower School, one for Upper School)
• Provide 2 structured Bible lessons per month (separate and age‑appropriate for each division)
• Develop engaging, Scripture-based content aligned with the school’s Christian mission
• Offer pastoral care and spiritual mentorship to students as needed
• Collaborate with administration for chapel planning and spiritual initiatives
• Maintain a lifestyle consistent with biblical leadership standards
• Participate in accountability and leadership oversight structures

• Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Ministry, Biblical Studies, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience serving as a Youth Pastor
• Minimum of 12 credit hours from an accredited Bible college or seminary (required if no degree in a related field)
• Strong leadership reference required
• Demonstrated commitment to accountability and spiritual integrity
• Experience working with both elementary and secondary students preferred

• Clear testimony of Christian faith
• Agreement with the school’s statement of faith
• Ability to communicate biblical truth in an age‑appropriate, engaging manner
• Strong moral character and servant leadership mindset
