Nursery 2 Yr Old Teacher
A Teacher for 2-year-olds is responsible to teach nursery children as guided by the Abeka curriculum. The Teacher should monitor children for health and safety and meet the children's needs by following ministry childcare standards and communicating effectively with parents, staff, and the Nursery Director.
Fulfill Teaching Responsibilities
Prepare daily lessons from a Christian perspective according to the guidelines given in the Abeka preschool curriculum for 2-year-olds. Teach each lesson in a clear, enthusiastic manner.
Provide Childcare
Monitor children for health and safety. Meet the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child and interact with children on an age-appropriate level.
Maintain Childcare Guidelines
Follow ministry childcare standards that outline schedules and routines for teaching, training, and engaging children. Provide a clean, safe, and organized environment that meets state and ministry guidelines.
Communicate Effectively
Communicate clearly with parents, staff assigned to your area, and the Nursery Director. Always maintain confidentiality according to established guidelines.
