JOB SUMMARY:
Established in 2006, UWF Explore Camps is an academic‑based summer camp program offering a variety of summer camp themes each week from Explore Hogwarts to LEGO Robotics. Summer camp assistants work with lead instructors to deliver hands‑on, fun experiences to youth aged 5‑17. A mixture of STEAM‑based academics plus a creative atmosphere results in a one‑of‑a‑kind summer camp (STEAM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, art, and math).
Working with Explore Camps provides camp assistants with a unique and meaningful summer job experience.

The hours will vary within the range of 7:30 a.m.
- 5:30 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. The program starts June 2nd and ends August 8th.
Experience being directly responsible for youth in a classroom or camp setting.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience being directly responsible for youth in a classroom or camp setting.
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physical Requirements:
Occasional and/or light lifting required. Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely results would be cuts, bruises, etc. - Impact of Deadlines:
