This opportunity resides with Global Security (GS). The Instructional Systems Specialist will support the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for military customers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

Job Description

The Instructional Systems Specialist (Training Representative) will be responsible for developing assessments, visual aids, e‑learning content, analyzing course effectiveness, and aligning curriculum with Fleet needs to close training gaps and improve job performance.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver programs to train all levels of personnel.
  • Develop tests, visual aids, conduct training classes, and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
  • Develop e‑learning programs.
  • Develop, update, and track products involving Fleet PQS qualifications and editing and tracking of annual or Ad‑Hoc TYCOM requirements.
  • Utilize findings and recommendations from evaluation studies of Navy training courses, including instructor delivery and student achievement.
  • Understand Fleet requirements and course curriculum to develop solutions to training gaps, with the goal of improved job performance.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Training Rep 2: 3 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree or 1 year relevant experience with Master’s degree, or High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years relevant experience.
  • Training Rep 3: 6 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant experience with Master’s degree, or High School Diploma or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience.
  • An active Secret clearance is required.
  • Familiarity with Content Planning Module (CPM) and Learning Object Module (LOM), end‑to‑end training process.
Preferred Requirements
  • Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) experience.
  • Moodle/Sales Force Curriculum Development System (CDS) experience.
