The UWF Hal Marcus College of Science and Engineering, Department of Biology, is seeking qualified part-time adjunct instructors to teach Biology courses. Instructors with experience in Introductory Biology I or II, Anatomy & Physiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, Genetics, Marine Biology & Oceanography, and Zoology are particularly needed.

The college is building a pool of adjuncts for teaching opportunities for upcoming semesters. Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.

Holds at least the master's degree in an appropriate specialization or the equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and is otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee may engage in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities, but is not eligible for tenure.

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.

A doctorate degree in the appropriate field of specialization from an accredited institution.

• Physical Requirements:
  
  Occasional and/or light lifting required. Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc., but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely results would be cuts, bruises, etc.
