Position: Adjunct Faculty, Physics (Academic Year 2025 - 2026)

Job Description

Adjunct instructors teach college‑level physics courses in face‑to‑face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats. Responsibilities include instructing students, developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining college and department standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a master’s degree in the field or a master’s degree and 18 graduate hours.
  • Successful criminal background check.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology required for assigned course(s).

Salary Range

Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis:
Master’s Degree – $34.00 per hour;
Doctorate – $37.00 per hour.

Background Verification

As an employment eligibility requirement, a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate. Any adverse background information must be disclosed or the candidate will be disqualified.
