Saint Stanislaus is seeking a high-energy, organized, and empathetic Dormitory Academic, Travel, and Activities Coordinator to join our residential life team. This role is the "heartbeat" of the boarding experience, bridging the gap between classroom success and life-changing extracurricular experiences. In this position, you aren’t just a supervisor; you are a mentor, a logistics expert, and a curator of fun. You will ensure students stay on track with their studies, navigate the complexities of international and domestic travel, and engage in a vibrant social life that makes our dormitory feel like home.

Core Responsibilities1. Academic Support & Success
- Study Hall Management: Oversee evening Study Hall, ensuring a quiet and productive environment.
- Academic Liaison: Act as the bridge between teachers and the dorm, identifying students who are struggling and coordinating tutoring or extra help.
- Executive Function
Coaching:
Help students manage their calendars, prioritize assignments, and develop healthy study habits.
- Break Logistics: Coordinate all student travel for school breaks, including airport shuttles, visa documentation checks, and "Unaccompanied Minor" services.
- Weekend Excursions: Plan and lead off-campus trips (e.g., city tours, hiking, sporting events, and cultural festivals).
- Transportation Management: Maintain the schedule for school vans and coordinate with external charter services when necessary.
- Programming: Design a monthly calendar of activities that includes 1 major outing per month.
- Budgeting: Manage the activities budget, ensuring high-quality experiences while remaining fiscally responsible.
- The "Vibe" Check: You must genuinely enjoy working with teenagers. Patience, a sense of humor, and a thick skin are essential.
- Organizational Mastery: Ability to juggle flight itineraries for 50+ students while simultaneously planning a pizza party.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to communicate effectively with concerned parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in summer camps, boarding schools, or student affairs is a major plus.
- Requirements: Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if required for school buses.
- Schedule: Non-traditional hours. Generally 1 pm – 9 pm, Monday – Thursday, and 8 variable hours on the weekends as needed.
