Position: Adjunct Faculty, Business (Academic Year 2026-2027)

Job Description

The Business Department offers college‑level Business courses in face‑to‑face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats. Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Business.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct students across multiple delivery formats
  • Develop and update course curricula
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in program evaluation activities
  • Maintain College and department standards
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College, with a master’s degree in business (or a master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours)
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Proficiency in using technology required for assigned courses
  • Eligibility to meet Florida Statutes §435.04(2) background investigation requirements (failure to meet disqualifies)
Salary and Benefits

Adjunct Faculty are paid hourly according to degree level:
Master’s Degree $35.00;
Doctorate $38.00. This is an open applicant pool; positions are filled on an as‑needed basis.
