Overview
The Business Department offers college‑level Accounting courses in face‑to‑face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats. Adjunct instructors will instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Business.
Responsibilities- Instruct college‑level Accounting courses in the specified formats.
- Develop and update course curricula and instructional materials.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
- Participate in program evaluation and maintain College and Department standards.
- Utilize required technology for assigned courses.
- Graduation from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Master’s degree in the field or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Ability to use technology required for assigned courses.
Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level:
- Master’s Degree: $35.00 per hour
- Doctorate: $38.00 per hour
Compliance with §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, is required. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate, and any adverse information or nondisclosure will result in disqualification.
