Position: Adjunct Faculty, Information Technology (Academic Year 2026- 2027)

Job Overview

The Mathematics and Computer Science Department offers college‑level Information Technology courses in face‑to‑face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats. Adjunct instructors will teach, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct assigned courses and evaluate student performance.
  • Develop course curricula, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement activities.
  • Maintain College and department standards for course delivery.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College, or an advanced doctoral degree.
  • At least 18 graduate hours beyond a master’s degree.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) background investigation is required for all successful candidates.
  • Proficiency in using and demonstrating technology required for assigned course(s).
Salary Range

Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level as follows:
Master’s Degree: $35.00 per hour;
Doctorate: $38.00 per hour. Positions are filled by the department on an as‑needed basis.
