Job Description:
The Health Sciences Department offers college‑level Radiography courses in a face‑to‑face format. Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Allied Health.
Responsibilities / Preceptor Requirements:- Maintain knowledge of program mission and goals.
- Understand the clinical objectives and the clinical evaluation system, and evaluate students’ clinical competence.
- Provide students with clinical instruction and supervision.
- Participate in the assessment process, as appropriate.
- Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress and monitor and enforce program policies and procedures.
To teach in the Radiologic Technology program, an Associate’s degree in a qualifying field and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification are required. Successful results of a criminal background check are also required. Instructors must be able to use the technology required for the assigned course(s).
Salary Range:Adjunct Faculty shall be paid on an hourly basis according to degree level as follows:
Bachelor’s Degree or less: $31.00
Master’s Degree: $34.00
Doctorate: $37.00
