As a member of the Mathematics and Computer Science Department, you will deliver college-level & college-preparatory mathematics courses in face-to-face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats.
Responsibilities- Instruct students in assigned courses.
- Develop curricula and course materials.
- Assess student learning and keep accurate records.
- Participate in program evaluation and maintain College and department standards.
- Demonstrate and use technology required for assigned course(s).
- Teaching college-level courses: graduation from an accredited institution and a master’s degree in the field AND at least 18 graduate hours in the field OR a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours.
- Teaching college-preparatory courses: graduation from an accredited institution and a bachelor’s degree in the field AND at least 18 undergraduate hours in the field.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Ability to use and demonstrate the use of technology required for assigned course(s).
- All supplemental materials must be submitted electronically via the Workday applicant portal.
- Adherence to Florida Statutes §435.04(2) regarding background investigations.
- Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate.
- Any candidate who fails to disclose adverse information in the background investigation will be disqualified.
- Master’s Degree – $35.00 per hour
- Doctorate – $38.00 per hour
