Job Description
Adjunct instructors in the Natural Sciences Department will instruct students in college‑level Microbiology courses offered in face‑to‑face, live online via Zoom, and asynchronous online formats. Responsibilities include developing curricula, assessing student learning, participating in program evaluation, and maintaining College and department standards.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a master’s degree in the field or a master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours.
- Successful criminal background check.
- Ability to use and demonstrate technology required for assigned course(s).
- Master’s Degree: $35.00 per hour
- Doctorate: $38.00 per hour
Pursuant to College policy, applicants must meet the requirements of §435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment.
