Adjunct Faculty, Health Services Management; Academic Year 2026-2027

Job Description

The Health Sciences Department offers college‑level Health Services Management courses in the following formats: face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online. Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Department Head, Allied Health.

• Associate degree in a qualifying field and a current qualifying license or credential (e.g., Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Medical license).
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to use required technology for assigned course(s).

• Bachelor’s Degree or less: $32.00 per hour
• Master’s Degree: $35.00 per hour
• Doctorate: $38.00 per hour

Applicants must meet the requirements of §435.04(2) of Florida Statutes related to background investigations. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)-approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate. Disclosing adverse information in the background investigation can lead to disqualification.
