Job DescriptionThe Mathematics Lecturer position is a 9-month, non‑tenure‑track faculty appointment, anticipated to begin in August 2026. The role involves teaching a range of mathematics courses from developmental mathematics through the calculus sequence, advising students, delivering course content, monitoring attendance and progress, supporting retention activities, assessing learning outcomes, and contributing to collegial service and professional development. Teaching assignments may include multiple campuses and modalities (day, evening, distance learning).
The position is on‑site and reports to the Department Head, Mathematics and Computer Science.
- Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College.
- Successful background check results.
- Completion of a Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) background check.
- Compliance with Florida Statute §435.04(2) regarding background investigations.
- Post‑secondary teaching experience.
- Experience using technology in teaching mathematics courses.
- Experience teaching distance learning courses.
$42,250.00 – $48,250.00 for a 9‑month contract with a master’s degree.
$47,000.00 – $53,000.00 for a 9‑month contract with a doctoral degree.

Pay Details- 164 Day Base (2025–2026)
- Bachelor’s or Less – $39,500
- Master’s – $42,250
- Master’s Plus – $44,000
- Doctorate – $47,000
All degree classification levels add the appropriate dollars (up to $6,000) for years of credited experience to the annual salary figures above to determine entry salary.
