The Health Promotion Coordinator has direct supervision of the student peer educator staff and is responsible for daily operations of the Peer Health Education program; organizes, facilitates, and evaluates a variety of health promotion activities for a wide range of campus audiences to improve the overall health and well-being, academic performance, and retention of college students; assists in hiring, training, managing, and evaluating student staff;
assists in researching, planning, and developing programs to support campus and community health initiatives; shares responsibility for strategic planning, quality control, achieving learning outcomes, and meeting the goals and objectives of the department, university, and state.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization. Four years of direct experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. CHES certification preferred.
