Air Traffic Control Electronics Maintenance Instructor
You will serve as an Air Traffic Control Electronics Maintenance Instructor.
You will provide formal classroom and practical laboratory instruction utilizing approved course materials, training aides, and other media in the basic skills area.
You will perform curriculum maintenance for the course material and all associated practical testing faults, ensuring Instructor Guides, Student Guides and Schematics are current and up to date.
You will participate in student evaluation and counseling programs and student advisory boards in accordance with current directives.
You will teach at the intermediate and advanced level of maintenance training and involves principles of operations, troubleshooting, repairing, and fleet maintenance procedures to the lowest replaceable unit (LRU).
You will teach the following courses: (C-103-2070) AN/FPN-68 Maintenance Training, 4-weeks and (C-103-2071) AN/GRN-33(v) Maintenance Training, 4-weeks.
You will be responsible to the Air Traffic Control Maintenance Training Officer for course of instruction of the Navy Precision Approach AN/FPN-68 Radar and the AN/GRN-33 Instrument Landing System (ILS).
