Job OverviewEmployees in this role apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments. Individuals will use advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices.
Responsibilities- Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Devises new solutions to problems encountered
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Engineers on the FPL solar team will spend a significant amount of time in the field (outside) troubleshooting and repairing all aspects of our solar and battery facilities
- On-call responsibility for the Panhandle FL Sites, coordinating with the Renewables Operation Control Center, OEMs, Vendors and Contractors as required
