Auto Cad Technician

We are looking for an Auto Cad Technician. This person will be responsible for creating CAD drawings, layouts and designs using basic design and engineering principles and reviewing the drawings to ensure compliance with design standards. A civil CAD technician works in a complete 3D environment and uses full AutoCAD or Microstation capabilities. A civil CAD technician should possess a thorough knowledge of coordinate systems, cartographic layout and design techniques.

A civil CAD technician should also possess basic understanding of Civil engineering and design practices. A civil CAD technician should prepare various support graphics for reports and meetings. It is the responsibility of a civil CAD technician to prepare assignments with Microstation CAD techniques. Requirements:

• Possess a certificate in Design Drafting Technology or pre
  - Engineering program. A civil CAD technician should be proficient and experienced in Microsoft drafting programs and CAD drafting.
• Should be well conversant with CAD set up using surveyor data and should be apt with coordinate systems, cartographic layout and design techniques and basic Civil engineering and design practices.
