Low Voltage Infrastructure Estimator

Job Title

Responsibilities:

Provide estimates and formal quotations, inclusive of DAS, data/communications, security, card access, and other low voltage solutions to the customer.

Duties:

Perform walkthroughs on job sites to gain understanding of environment and implementation requirements Perform take offs from provided plans and SOW’s Identify key challenges and/or opportunities for each project Review Specifications and drawings Identify potential value engineering Review material quotations for completeness Travel to customer and strategic partner site to perform technical presentations when required Build strategic working relationships with subcontractors/Technical Partners to accomplish goals and objectives Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction Prepare proposals letter to the customer inclusive of detailed quotation Knowledge of budget and schedule management.

Skills:

1. 3 years minimum estimating low voltage (DAS, data/communications/security/telecommunications) projects involving copper, and fiber
2. Knowledge of estimating techniques and take off procedures.

Education:

1. RCDD is a PLUS 2.
