Job Title
The position requires assistance in various duties related to facilities operation and recreation program delivery.
Major Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities include:
- Providing information concerning facilities and operations.
- Ensuring adherence to regulations, safety, and security procedures.
- Assisting in maintaining routine reports and performing clerical, custodial, and general maintenance duties.
- Supporting recreation program delivery through inventory control, equipment inspection, restocking, point of sale system operation, and cash handling.
- Operating a cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, processing transactions including equipment loan, rentals, resale, and program registration; receiving payments and making change.
- Greeting patrons in person, answering the telephone, taking messages, handling customer requests, and making referrals to the appropriate staff member.
- Adhering to NAVMED P-5010 sanitation requirements.
- Providing support for recreation event set up and break down.
