FS Advisors (FSA) is the largest financial advisory firm dedicated to serving Indian Country, with employees located in twelve different states and offices in Alabama and Florida. FSA’s mission is to strengthen the financial future of tribal communities through independent, unbiased advice and fully integrated, customized solutions. Serving over 60 tribes nationwide, FSA offers expertise in project development, financing, investment management, and tribal member benefits.

Its divisions include FSA Advisory Group, which provides project development and government consulting; FSA Investment Group, which delivers financial advice to tribes and high-net-worth individuals; FSA TPA (Third Party Administrator), which helps tribal leaders design and manage member benefit programs; and Prospecta Growth Partners, which supports tribes with strategic investment and economic development tailored to their goals. INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW The FSA Summer Internship is a unique, hands‑on learning experience designed for students interested in finance, economic development, and service to Tribal Nations and Tribal communities.

It is designed as a developmental program to build the skills, exposure, and network to launch a career serving tribal communities. Interns will rotate through multiple business lines including Advisory Group, Investment Group, Prospecta Growth Partners, and Tribal Administrative Services, gaining exposure to real projects, client work, and strategic initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (Finance,
    Business, Economics, or related field preferred)
  • Junior or senior standing, GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred
  • Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, economic development,
    and supporting Tribal Nations and communities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Shadow and support teams in Advisory, Investment, Prospecta, and Tribal Administrative Services
  • Assist with client correspondence, data analysis, and report preparation
  • Participate in team meetings, client calls, and project work
  • Conduct research and contribute to special projects
  • Read two required books and complete correlated book reports
  • Present project findings and recommendations to the team at the end of the internship
  • Share a brief update on current projects during weekly Monday roundtable calls
  • Complete an internship survey and provide feedback for future program improvements
Salary & Benefits

$18.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
