Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Pensacola, FL 32514.
This is a 3 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Shift :
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30-4:30 and every Saturday 7a-11a. CST

Payrate : $19-21/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.

Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate.

• Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
