Job DescriptionPosition requires flexibility to work three (3) 12-hour shifts weekly. Candidates must be available for a rotating schedule, including both day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
The Registration Representative performs a variety of data entry and general registration functions for outpatient departments in the facility. It is the responsibility of the registration representative to accurately collect patient demographic and insurance data to ensure appropriate reimbursement and claim filing.
Responsibilities- Acts as the initial greeter for all patients/visitors entering the facility.
- Completes all registrations in a professional, accurate and customer–oriented timely manner.
- Obtains information from patient health insurance or managed care identification card
- Responsible for distributing to patients or their representative any required handouts.
- Maintains forms in all printers at all times, which may require lifting or carrying cases of forms. Must have knowledge of all software and hardware computerized equipment.
- May be required to work at another location as needed and team members are responsible for their own transportation.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 6 months relevant revenue cycle or customer service experience Required
